Harrison School of Character

Principal's Message

Dear Harrison School Families,

Harrison scholars thrive in an atmosphere that is rich in educational opportunities. Toward the goal of meeting our mission statement, the children receive a well-balanced education that meets the requirements of the New Jersey Department of Education. Mastery of the basic skills of reading, writing, mathematics, science and social studies are stressed throughout all grades. Additionally, students in all academic areas receive instruction in the use of technology that will provide them with the ability to gather, evaluate and present information. Classroom experiences are student centered and designed to promote critical thinking, effective communication, and problem solving. Moreover, it is our goal to convey positive attitudes toward life-long learning that will ensure that our students are provided with the skills to succeed at future challenges.
