Dear Harrison School Families,

I want to officially welcome all of you to the 2019-2020 School Year! For those of you who are new to our school, I want you to know that you are coming to an absolutely wonderful place! As your principal, I am committed to the Harrison School Community and firmly believe that ALL students will SUCCEED.

Our teachers and staff are caring, innovative, and always learning something new for the benefit of your children. We are a collaborative and driven group of educators who strive to have our students reach their highest potential.

I look forward to our partnership in ensuring a productive and fun educational experience for your children. I believe that building strong relationships between home and school is a key factor in increasing student achievement. As principal, my door is always open, and I welcome your input. I strongly believe that parental involvement is an essential component to student success, as research continues to show strong correlation between increased involvement and high student success.

Overall, we are looking forward to an amazing year of learning together, growing together, and succeeding expectations together! This year we are going to celebrate every student’s achievement as we continue to encourage them on their road to college. We have an exciting year ahead of us filled with learning!

ARRIVAL TIMES:  8:45 a.m. - 2:55 p.m. (New Start Time)
Please adhere to the new school hours. Your child must be on time and at school by 8:45am and ready to begin their day. Students who are consistently tardy are at a clear disadvantage and usually arrive feeling frantic and unprepared. The Before the Bell program will begin on September 5th, at 7:30 am; forms will be available to sign your child for the program. In the interest of safety, please do not drop off your children before 7:30 am, as there is no supervision before that time. Also, please be sure to pick up your children by 2:55 pm. Please note, parents are not allowed to enter the school building on the first two days of school with their child. You may enter after 8:45am, once all students have started their day. This is to ensure the safety of your child and leads to a smooth morning transition.

Lunch Applications: All lunch applications are online. Please click the link to complete your application; you will immediately receive your eligibility once your application is submitted. Our goal is to have every family complete a lunch application ASAP, so please click the link today!
